First Time in jamaica!

It is an amazing experience! You will learn a lot and have even more fun than you would expect! I loved it! And I will be doing this tour again soon!

This is my first time to Jamaica and really glad my best friend and my first adventurous experience was with Juliet. Prior to even arriving, she already made us feel comfortable, informed, and excited about our trip altogether, by checking in. It’s the little things that count and go a long way for anybody, but especially tourists who’ve never been to the country before. Juliet’s warmth and openness to answering all our questions prior, during and after our adventure made us confident in our decision of our tour with her. On our way to the Marcus Garvey Liberty Hall and Simon Bolivar museums, Juliet gave us some historic context to some of the buildings, water, and serveral locations we came across. After the tour ended, Juliet gave us some frozen towels to cool ourselves with and some Jamaican sweets. She also went out of her way to accompany us back to our hotel. I strongly recommend Juliet and her tours.

I enjoyed my museums tour with Juliet (Olde Jamaica Tours). The arrangements were clear and everything took place on time. She is very knowledgeable and even the journey to and from is interesting. Juliet can agree your tour with you if you’d like any amendments. A range of tours is offered, e.g. sporting, cultural, museums, churches, Blue Mountains and other places. Juliet curated a wonderful experience, including a delicious recommendation for lunch which ended up being the best jerk on my entire trip. From the meet-up to the bus ride to the museums, this is the best way to experience the culture and learn some history of Kingston in a short period of time. I highly recommend!

It was a pleasure learning about Jamaica’s national hero as well as finding out about the country’s link to its Spanish neighbors. Very informative. The tour of Emancipation Park and the bus ride was also a favorite of ours. If you’re from the Caribbean, she will remind you of every aunt you have ever had. Down to a sweetie and holding hands to cross the street…Lol. We felt like we were with family. It was our pleasure to have met you!! Thank You!

This tour is a must! We started off with the Liberty Hall, Museum of Marcus Garvey where we learnt about Jamaica’s first national hero, we then went to the Símon Bolivar Centre and learnt about this Venezuelan hero’s connection to Jamaica and the Caribbean Islands. It’s very insightful history and Juliet and her assistant Kadian are very knowledgeable guides. Even on our trip to the location they pointed out historic sites to us and told us about the specific history behind what we were seeing. It was our first trip to Jamaica and Juliet was gracious enough to make a special transportation arrangement for us that was more convenient. At the end of the tour you get to participate in a Latin dance and do take advantage of it if you can, don’t be boring! I would strongly recommend this tour. Don’t forget your camera. Juliet is such a sweet, intelligent and hospitable woman and we couldn’t have been more thankful for our first tourist experience in Jamaica!! We love Juliet and we enjoyed this tour! Don’t miss out!!
