Church Heritage Tour
Our Tour Guide will pick you up at your hotel/guest house in Kingston and travel to downtown Kingston to the following locations.
- The St Andrew Parish Church
Tour a historical Church that has some of the oldest and beautiful monuments and memorials of any Church in Jamaica. Stained glass windows, installed after 1879, are an important part of the memorials of the church. The present organ, the fourth in the church’s history, was installed in 1978.The cemetery is one of the oldest in continuous use in the island and many prominent persons associated with the history of the Church are interred within its boundaries.
                               NB: Church is not always available; an alternative site will be substituted.
- Devon House
Explore the mansion built by one of the country’s first black millionaire. You will soon learn of the link between these two heritage sites. At the end of this tour you are invited to have a Devon House ice cream, one of the best!!!, before returning to your hotel.
